What is the show about?

Godfather of Harlem tells the true story of infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson, who in the early 1960s returned from ten years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles. With the streets controlled by the Italian mob, Bumpy must take on the Genovese crime family to regain control. During the brutal battle, he forms an alliance with preacher Malcolm X – catching Malcolm’s political rise in the crosshairs of social upheaval and a mob war that threatens to tear the city apart.

Most of the main cast will be returning for the upcoming season as well. On the show, we will be having Forest Whitaker as Bumpy Johnson, Nigél Thatch as Malcolm X, and Ilfenesh Hadera as Mayme Johnson. Also, we have Antoinette Crowe-Legacy as Elise Johnson, Rafi Gavron as Ernie Nunzi, and Lucy Fry as Stella Gigante.

Also, we will be seeing Erik LaRay Harvey as Del Chance, Elvis Nolasco as Nat Pettigrew, and Demi Singleton as Margaret Johnson. We will also see Vincent D’Onofrio as Vincent “The Chin” Gigante, Paul Sorvino as Frank Costello, and Chazz Palminteri as Joe Bonanno. Also, we will be having Giancarlo Esposito as Adam Clayton Powell Jr., Justin Bartha as Robert Morgenthau, and Annabella Sciorra as Fay Bonanno. Also, we have Ronald Guttman as Jean Jehan, Gino Cafarelli as Fat Gino, and Isaach de Bankolé as Monsieur 98. Method Man as Sam Christian and many others will be there on the show too!
